CAD Designer / CAD Technician required for a client of ours in Bedfordshire who specialise in curtain walling, facades and glazing. An AutoCAD Designer / CAD Technician with experience of the construction sector is required - ideally you will have some knowledge of the fenestration industry (windows and doors). The role will be to join a dedicated Design Team but will include a range of responsibilities, including design, site visits, purchasing materials and liaising with clients.
Construction design experience along with AutoCAD knowledge is required. Our client design and install a range of architectural aluminium glazing systems for the residential, commercial and public sectors.
CAD Designer / CAD Technician Position Overview
* Request CAD drawings from Contractor of all floor plans, sections, elevations and details.
* Request sectional details from fabricator.
* Carry out site visits as required
* Obtain prices for glass required and negotiate best deal
* Confirm costs of all variations to client as soon as we are aware of them

* Salary: GBP25k - GBP33k
* 28 Days Holiday
