An exciting position has become avaliable for a Transport Planner at this busy site in Daventry. The role will revolve around the planning of sub contractors, and arranging the fleet.
You will be confident with MS packages and also will be trained to use the in house software. The majority of the organisation is done through this busy Daventry hub and is processed remotely so the majority of this role will be via telephone and email.
A background in a similar role would be an advantage but also someone looking for a step up with a determined attitude to work would also be considered.
Having a financial bias mind and being cost orientated would definitely be a benefit in this position.
The working hours mon-fri 9am-5pm, with no weekends or bank holidays. Once you are comfortable in your role there is flexibility to begin work at 8am and finish at 4pm. - This may also vary during peak seasons so the willingness to conform would be essential.
