An opportunity for a purchasing administrator has arisen in our clients busy Engineering Stores department. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure as the environment is very fast paced.
The day to day duties will include:
- booking on
- raising po's
- checking daily stock
- obtaining quotes
- liasing with suppliers
- general admin duties
Liasing with suppliers and different departments means that you will have great communication skills.
The everyday usage of Microsoft Office software - mainly Excel, Word and Outlook requires you to be confident using these. Full training will be given for the in house packages, an understanding or previous working relationship with SAP would be advantageous.
This position is on a 6month fixed term contract to help a sudden influx of work.
Due to the location of the company own transport would be an advantage.
