Assistant Accountant - Oxford
GBP19,000 - GBP23,000 basic salary and with company benefits
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a successful and thriving Automotive company that offers a varied and exciting role. Reporting into the Dealership Accountant we are looking for an enthusiastic, talented individual with a keen eye for detail and flair for accounts. You will be confident and from an Automotive accounts background, and have the enthusiasm to work in a fast paced car sales business. You will be especially competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, be incredibly ambitious and be willing to undertake further training and development. You will also possess a real desire to further your accounting career within the motor industry. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers.
Role & Responsibilities
This role is to support the Accountant in all aspects of accounts in the dealership. You will assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, supervise the accounts colleagues across the sites, reconcile various balance sheets and monitor daily cash movement.
