Surveyor / Estimator

We are looking for a Surveyor / Estimator

We are the longest established Garage Door company in Cornwall, having been trading for over 30 years. We offer a wide range of quality domestic and industrial garage doors to domestic customers as well as local small developers.

We are seeking a Garage Door surveyor to survey for new garage doors and Industrial doors throughout Cornwall. The successful candidate will undertake a varied role with duties to include: Surveying, estimating and attending pre-start meetings if applicable.

You will be required to operate from our office in Truro where you will run your own diary, booking in work with the customers throughout Cornwall. Flexibility with working hours is required to accommodate both the customer and business needs, but you must be available to work 8 - 4.30, Monday to Friday as an essential.

Salary is negotiable to suit candidates experience, please advise of your salary expectations on submission of your CV.

Training will be given to the right candidate but experience surveying is preferred

The successful candidate must:

·         Have excellent measuring skills and be able to work with accuracy

·         Have fantastic interpersonal skills

·         Be able to calculate costs and provide quotations

·         Have excellent attention to detail to be able to reflect the customers' requirements

·         Be aware of Health and Safety requirements in order to ensure that our customers and installers are safe

·         Be able to provide customers with good technical advice and support across the whole product range

·         Be able to order materials and liaise with the sales office and installation teams

·         Hold a Full clean driving licence for at least 2 years

You will also be required to carry out occasional repairs and assist with installations from time to time (to cover annual leave and sickness)

You will have the use of a company vehicle during working hours
