Position: UX / UI Developer
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Role Summary
An exciting opportunity is available within the Research and Development team, reporting to the Operations Director. This team is responsible for the maintenance of all our existing systems as well as development of new products and services, including integration with third party products.
Working alongside the lead backend developer, the successful applicant will take full responsibility for delivery of the user facing elements of the next generation of our suite of products.
The job is well suited to someone who is looking to further their career or looking to switch areas in this field.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Total responsibility for the design, delivery and maintenance of the UI and UX of our suite of products.
Configuration Management and Source Control
Quality checking your own and other team members work
Maintaining and creating system and process documentation
Participation in full development lifecycle of our bespoke tools
Skills / Experience Required
Client side Javascript
One to Two years’ experience working with one of React, Angular, Vue or similar.
One to Two years’ UX design experience
Desirable Skills / Experience
Git
PHP
MySQL/MariaDB
REST
CI/CD & test suites
Docker
HTML5 Responsive Design
Key Personal Qualities
Excellent time & task management and attention to detail
Excellent written & verbal communication
Excellent communication skills
Quick to learn and able to work under own initiative
Able to work effectively to deadlines under pressure
Uncompromising on quality
Sense of fun and good humour!
