Our Client administers the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) and provides pensions to over 1.5 million people. They have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes and provide tailored services to more than 300 Government employers. Also, through their Training and Employee Engagement Service, they offer training on a wide range of pension related topics and legislative change.
They now have an opportunity available for a Service Delivery Manager to join them to deliver a first-class administration service for Workflow Management and Reporting within Liverpool Operations.
Leading a number of service delivery teams in the most cost effective and efficient manner whilst seeking continuous improvement, you will be responsible for actively managing the customer relationship to maximise customer satisfaction and identifying and implementing efficiencies and improvements to service delivery.
Ensuring that exposure to errors, compensation claims and ex-gratia payments is minimised, you must review, plan, control and develop procedures and structures to deliver the company and client’s requirements and ensure that teams understand what is expected of them, performance is measured and appropriate feedback is provided.
Candidates for this role should have good people management and leadership skills and previous experience in a pensions / financial services environment. With experience of dealing with external clients and of working to SLA’s, you will have a track record of improving standards, developing new procedures and motivating teams to succeed. An awareness of budget process, scheme rules, industry regulations and current pensions legislation is also essential.
