Connex Education is working in collaboration with a large primary school in Worsley. This school is currently in need of a General Teaching Assistant to fill a full-time role, and we are seeking the ideal candidate on their behalf. Could this be you?
Working 5 days per week, the successful applicant will be based in a range of KS1 and KS2 classes. Your main duty will be to assist the teacher with classroom management, offering support during lessons and completing various administrative tasks (e.g. photocopying, filing) throughout the school day. You will not be expected to work with children on a 1:1 basis, but occasionally, you may be asked to deliver small-group activities in key subject areas. Knowledge of the primary national curriculum is important to the role and, in order to apply, you need to have at least 4 months' previous experience as a TA (obtained within the last year). SEND experience would also be a great advantage, but this is not essential to your application.
