We're on the hunt for a super talented, passionate UX Designer to join the in-house digital and design team at Whittard of Chelsea whose Head Office is based in Witney, Oxfordshire. They are looking to enhance their digital presence and that's where you come in! As Web & UX Designer you will be responsible for creating and developing digital design solutions; from wireframing through to user testing and delivery.

When Walter Whittard launched his first London shop in 1886, his philosophy was simple: buy the best. It's a philosophy that's stayed closed to their hearts since then, driving their belief in quality, heritage and innovation. With business in over 35 countries and an ever-growing base of loyal customers, they believe their position as a premium lifestyle brand would make Walter proud.

The heart and soul of Whittard are their products. Constantly updated with exclusive blends, their pioneering collection of tea, coffee and cocoa is complemented by a wide range of brewing equipment, tableware and elegant gifts. Their stores are designed to provide an immersive and engaging environment, while their website brings the unique Whittard shopping experience online with expert tips and information on coffee roasting, tea origins and plenty more. Their community stretches across the world, and by continuing to develop their branded stores, their online experience and to distribute their products internationally, they are looking to grow even further, cementing their position as a global premium brand.

Working closely with the design, marketing, web and buying teams you will take and create ideas from brain storming meetings, ensuring that brand guidelines and vision are adhered to. Producing creative assets for a digital web platform, designing and building web pages, you will act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that their experience online is constantly improving.

Management and delivery of multiple projects throughout the creative process through to final sign off, ensuring high quality is maintained throughout, working within set budgets and timescales.

To be considered for the role you will have a deep understanding and experience of design methodologies, practices and principles, with a strong portfolio of work. Our ideal candidate will have UX experience gained in retail and eCommerce, with an understanding and appreciation of branding.

Communication will be key in this role as you will need to liaise with stakeholders across multiple business functions and external agency partners. Alongside strong design capability you will also be commercially minded and proactive, to identity and capitalise on opportunities
