Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading, well-known Nottingham business who are seeking to strengthen their finance function with the addition of an ambitious UK Finance Manager. My client feels this role would best suit an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant who has trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 practice and spent the last few years developing their financial accounting experience in industry. This FTSE listed business, is an employer of choice within the region and will provide the successful incumbent with a supportive and progressive environment where they can quickly accelerate their career.
The UK Finance Manager position will be a varied and challenging role that will have core monthly duties (detailed below) in addition to adhoc project work and commercial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely, reliable and insightful financial reporting and forecasting for the UK region
- Responsible for balance sheet, cashflow, P&L and Capex reporting
- Review and challenge the accounting submissions to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Support and educate the wider business on financial control, policies and processes
- Involvement in project work around acquisitions and divestments
- Prepare and present financial forecasts - highlighting risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders
In addition to having the technical capability, it is essential that all applicants posses a confident and personable approach that will allow them to interact effectively with the wider UK Finance team and senior stakeholders.
