Working with a well known Norfolk business, OSR Recruitment are exclusively recruiting a Financial Controller to head up their Finance department. This long-standing and well loved business are at the forefront of local commerce and due to internal changes, are now looking to appoint a professionally qualified and commercially focused Financial Controller.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a crucial part in not only developing a robust financial reporting function, but also preparing and presenting Financial & Management Accounts to Senior Management as well as developing astute business plans that will allow the business to further grow and ultimately meet its objectives.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Preparation of Management Accounts
* Oversee and manage the Finance team
* Preparation of annual Statutory Accounts
* Management of Payroll function
* Ensure relationships with the Banks are kept and maintained
* Liaise with external Auditors
* VAT & Corporation Tax return preparation
* Fixed Asset register management
* Accounting, operational & planning procedures as and when required
Required Skills & Experience:
* Professionally Qualified (ACA or ACCA)
* Commercially focused
* Strong Analytical approach
* Team Management experience
* Ability to influence & lead
* Business Planning skills
