GBP38,000 to GBP48,000

We are currently looking for a Process Engineer for a global paper manufacturing business based in the Basingstoke area paying up to GBP48,000. The business manufacturer a market leading product with a global supplier base and they are looking to bring someone in to join their successful engineering team immediately.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the process manager you will be part of the Process team. Key responsibilities for the Process engineer include;

Lead process/product improvement
*
To provide Process Improvement support to all Mill operations to enable manufacturing to achieve the best quality product at the lowest cost
*
Through the Process Improvement support provided, actively encourage and coach employees in lean manufacturing techniques, quality and how data drives decisions
*
Participate with FLMs & Asset Care to embed the processes into daily paper machine cell activities, reducing breakdown time/cost and increasing paper machine availability.
*
Work with Op Ex and supporting of APQP paper product teams.
THE PERSON:
Based out of the Basingstoke site, the ideal process engineer will have the following skills and experience;

Education to Degree/or management level
*
Experience within Paper making/Paper processing.
*
Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (Green belt) certified
