SEN Teacher - SLD/PMLD

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified SEN Teacher to join this 'good' SEN School in the Borough of Hounslow. The school caters for primary aged students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). A large of these students would also have associated needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). This SEN school is located over two sites within the borough of Hounslow, both accessible by public transport.
You would be leading a class of up to 8 students, planning engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of individual students, delivering lessons and writing individual education plans (IEPs). You would be expected to use these IEPs to provide regular feedback to parents/carers, therapists and senior leadership. Students in your class would have access to a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science, Humanities, DT, Music, PE and Computing and are working at low P levels.
To be eligible for this position you must be a qualified teacher with QTS and have experience in working with children with similar needs. The school provides training in communication systems (PECs, objects of reference, on-body signing) and run regular safeguarding courses throughout the year
