A Sales Executive is needed for our client, a leading public policy communications organisation. The company provides engaging and educational content through quality platforms of events, conferences and training. Based in Liverpool, this is a great opportunity to be part of an energetic and highly driven sales team that continues to deliver the right audience to the overall event portfolio. The right candidate will enter a commercially focused role selling training courses and conference places to their delegate database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a team to continually meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Meeting daily, weekly and monthly KPI's as set by your line manager
  • Helping to grow the attendance at events
  • Upselling prospects to a multi-ticket purchase where possible
  • Communicating the complete business portfolio via telephone, email and social media
  • Introduce new prospects to new products that they may not have considered based on their requirements in order to maximise revenue
  • Keeping up to date records of your daily, weekly, monthly activity against targets set
  • Effectively planning your working date in order to cover the leads generated by email marketing
  • Recognising and passing supplier leads to the sponsorship team
  • Utilising sales platforms and CRM's to generate leads and close deals

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Ability to work on multiple products across a diverse portfolio
  • Working knowledge of Google drive
  • Ability to identify new business contacts from various sources (social media, competitors etc)
  • Understanding of lead generation and identifying relevant contacts
  • Ability to engage prospects and clients over the phone
  • A high level of self-motivation
  • Desire to want to meet and exceed targets on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Good time management

Desirable:

  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • Knowledge of corporate and public sector, hierarchical structure, and responsibilities

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, OTE £41k uncapped (based on £22k basic reaching £16k in sales per month)

Holidays and Benefits:

  • 24 days annual holiday, rising by one day per year after 2 years' service, to a maximum of 29 days
