Brewster Pratap are delighted to be recruiting for a medium sized growing business in Sheffield who are looking to recruit for a Financial Analyst
The Job
This job will report to one of the best line managers I have ever recruited for in terms of personality, drive and work ethic.
Support the Finance Director in establishing a robust and transparent finance function
Provide insight, clarity and integrity of data using various methods including data visualisation
Translate data into meaningful information to support business decisions
Provide data in a simple and meaningful way accessible to all areas of the business
Proactively identify and understand trends in data
Understand systems and data integration, identifying areas for process improvements whilst continuously analysing and monitoring the efficiency of business processes
Automate current processes and data gathering ensuring validation of data
Understand and leverage system data capability
Support the working relationship between finance and IT/Systems team
Provide Business Information covering KPIs and performance metrics
Create and maintain an automated month end management reporting pack
Support cost/budget analysis on contracts
The Person
You will have previous experience of working in an analytical role and a good understanding of finance and business operations. You will need advanced Excel skills including VBA/Macros and the ability to form and develop relationships across all parts of the business
