The Role
You will have responsibility to develop and implement apprenticeships and professional courses for learners across the UK. Although the main emphasis will be quality improvement process, whilst helping to drive the company forward whilst maintaining the high standards of teaching to all learners. As part of the senior management team you will be involved in the future strategy and growth of the company.
Key Tasks
• Designing, developing and implementing of apprenticeships
• Experience of Program/Project management
• To work in collaboration with all staff in the improvement of all quality including self-assessment, action plans and performance review meetings
• To ensure we are inspection ready at all times
• To ensure effective and robust assessment and internal verification procedures and practices are in place and being adhered to in line with regulatory and awarding requirements.
• To be responsible for ensuring that the activities undertaken are conducted in accordance with the Safeguarding and Health & Safety requirements of our policies and procedures.
Personal Attributes
• Understanding of FE/HE funding requirements and methodologies
• Knowledge and understanding of a work based learning environment
• Knowledge and understanding of external organisations like OFSTED and awarding bodies
• Knowledge and understanding of good teaching and learning practices
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to liaise/communicate with a broad spectrum
• 2 Year (A1 or equivalent, V1, PTLLS, PGCE is desirable, Occupational experience in related areas)
Qualification & Experience
• A1 or equivalent
• V1 or equivalent
• Experience of using an e-portfolio system
• Knowledge and understanding of funding regulations and awarding/regulatory bodies
• Experience in running Ofsted Inspection/Matrix standard
• Full UK driving licence
