1-1 Recruitment have an opportunity for an experienced project assistant to join our client on a temporary basis local to Basingstoke. The role will support the Project Manager in delivering two exciting organisational projects that are setting up the future for a medium sized business operating in the aeronautical sector.
It will support the Project manager in scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing and managing all the activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
It might be required to work on some phases or sub-tasks of projects of simple/moderate complexity, with results impacting on the overall project completion.
Responsibilities:
??Attend project meetings, taking minutes and updating the action log(s)
??Engage with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation for ensuring that agreed actions have been completed
??Track tasks against the project timing plan
??Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within the project(s) schedule to make sure agreed milestones are met
??In coordination with the Project Manager, take ownership of the co-ordination and resolution of standard problems
??In coordination with the Project Manager, take ownership of sub-phases or subtasks of projects of simple/moderate complexity
??Support the Project Manager in performing overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance)
??Prepare regularly reports on project status
??Complete the required administrative work to support the Project Manager in delivering the assigned project(s) against quality, cost and time
??Complete any other additional activity as reasonably directed by the Project Manager from time to time
