Where you'll work:
The Design, Construction and Engineering Team are a diverse group of talent tasked with some of their most innovative projects within water, waste and energy resource management. This role will see the successful individual get involved in these projects at the early stages right through to delivery and beyond, they are seeking an individual to push the boundaries of their current design capability and embrace new technologies such as augmented reality software to support ever more valuable solutions for their customers
What you'll do:
Based out of their Kings Cross or Staffordshire offices, this role provides an invaluable opportunity to own the in-house design capability for the Design, Technology and Construction team preparing conceptual design layouts for the wider team and operational business for new projects and existing site modifications to a multitude of different waste, water and energy processing facilities. Using BIM software, the successful applicant will produce 3D drawings as well as work in 4D and 5D as required, partnering with third party design services to deliver accurate and feasible design options. The role will provide fantastic learning opportunity from working with different teams in the department and operational business.
Experience you will need:
You will be a talented designer with a natural curiosity for new technologies and techniques, your engineering background will have given you the problem solving skills to be successful however this exposure need not be within building design as they are open to other backgrounds. Systems wise, the successful applicant will be skilled in the use of Autodesk REVIT and Navisworks with any exposure to augmented reality or visualisation software of significant advantage
