Instrumentation Technician
Bedford/ Milton Keynes/ Northampton, UK
Permanent position, GBP26,000 + shift + benefits
Our client is a market leading firm in test engineering and automotive engineering. They boast a state of the art facility with a variety of test beds and specialised equipment for the Automotive industry. The role as Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for preparing instrumentation for vehicles tests which will entail fitting and installing sensors and computer setup for data acquisition.
Responsibilities:
Carefully removing vehicle trim without causing any damage to the vehicle
Meet the customers needs in carrying out various tests
Recording data during tests
Keeping all test equipment working in a safe and effective manner
Report any issues during the testing to the engineering team
Qualifications and Experience:
Electronic engineering qualification (HNC/HND)
Experience within a testing environment
Soldering
Reading technical drawings
Fault Finding
Full UK driving licence
