Sales Executive (12 Month Contract) 
Stevenage, Hertfordshire (with occasional travel to visit customers based in Europe)

Who am I working for? 

Our client is an expert producer of accessories for mobile phones, tablets and audio equipment and possesses licences for global brands such as Star Wars, Disney, Marvel and Accessorize.

They’re now looking for a Sales Executive to join their team on a 12 month contract that is likely to become a permanent position.

What will I be doing? 

As a Sales Executive, you’ll drive sales of our client’s tech, car and travel accessories. 

In this varied role, you will: 

- Maintain an existing customer base, mostly in Europe 
- Work with the MD to identify new sales opportunities within strategic goals 
- Prospect via telephone, email, LinkedIn and online 
- Work closely with the Product Team and provide feedback on product ideas 
- Liaise with European distributors and some direct accounts 
- Drive all sales opportunities to a conclusion 
- Occasionally travel to meet customers (which may involve overnight stays) 

Sounds great! What do I need to become a Sales Executive? 

- At least two years’ sales experience 
- A high level of IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
- A good level of numeracy
- To be based within a commutable distance of our client’s office in Stevenage 
- Exceptional communication skills 
- A strong level of business acumen 

Ideally, you’ll have experience in fast-moving markets, such as mobile or consumer electronics. Experience of dealing with distributor accounts would also be an advantage, as would experience in travel channels. 

Our client is eager to hear from candidates who’ve worked as a Sales Executive, Sales Representative, Sales Rep, Business Development Executive, BDE or Client Relationship Manager.
