Digital Marketing Executive
Role Summary
- Support the Digital Marketing Team Leader, Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to establish the direction of digital marketing strategy and planning
- Support the Digital Marketing Team Leader to develop and execute digital marketing strategy for all online platforms.
- Implement and execute online marketing campaigns including full responsibility of eMarketing campaigns, from concept design and scheduling to ongoing implementation and performance tracking
- Demonstrate technical ability to create and develop new digital assets with external agencies (apps and websites)
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in all marketing projects from a digital perspective
- Deliver projects and campaigns on time, on brand and in budget
- Keep up-to-date with digital marketing trends and techniques
- Manage external agencies
- Manage daily operations for online campaigns and initiatives
- Advise team members on emerging web platforms
- Assist in campaign strategy and planning from a digital marketing point of view
- Attend team meetings and other company events as required
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
- Manage the weekly enewsletter working alongside the Digital Content Editor
- Cover social media and web platforms during absence/holidays
- Assist all team members to ensure all department responsibilities are fulfilled
- Assist in event planning from a eMarketing/Digital Marketing point of view
- Any other reasonable duties required by the Team Leader, Marketing Manager or Head of Marketing.
Essential Skills
- Strong command of the written word and creative content development skills
- Sound understanding of marketing principles and the ability to apply each principle to online initiatives.
- Strong understanding of analytics, conversion rates, click-through rates and other marketing metrics
- Strong communication, strategic thinking and organisational skills, along with the desire to bring innovative ideas to the marketing team
- Experience with Photoshop and InDesign desirable
- e-marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor
- One year of hands on experience in a similar digital marketing role
- Ability to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to define new audience types
- Good understanding of database concepts and segmentation
- Ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation desirable
