My client is a growing manufacturer and are now looking for an Operations Administrator to join their busy team. assisting with order processing, after sales support, and general administrative duties.

Ideally you will have experience of working and looking at technical drawings and understand calculations and dimensions (metric/imperial). You will have a good head for figures - if you're uncomfortable with figures then this isn't the role for you!

Whilst there isn't a huge amount of contact with customers, you will deal with some operational incoming calls it will mainly be with fitters and account managers.

This role is urgent and as such my client is looking for someone asap so if you're available immediately then so much the better.

Around 75% of this role will be looking at technical drawings and using CAD. The sales team will raise the order on the system including CAD/Technical drawings and you will take this information and add additional information for the factory to have a build pack to then manufacture the product.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales Order Processing:
•Keep up to date with current orders and be aware of any deadlines relating to orders, and take appropriate action to ensure deadlines are met
•Review survey information in works order folders and assess what may affect the kit requirements or installation process. Print key information relevant to the work that will be issued to both the factory production and installation teams
•Monitor the order information coming into the business, and approach the Sales Team/ Regional Area Managers for clarification if required
•Printing works order labels
•Compare illustration drawing with existing library of technical (build) drawings and select the correct drawing to issue, or amend a drawing and save as a new design in the drawing library. All drawings are 2D and are currently created via Autosketch
•Monitor incoming orders and check order status on parts, if required
•Monitor and update Proof of Delivery Excel spreadsheet which lists all completed installations or supplied parts. Receive emailed photo information from install teams and send completed notifications to trade customers for their acknowledgement

Checklists
•Using technical drawing create an Excel spreadsheet based kit list (starting from existing templates). The list allocates all required components for the factory to pick or fabricate. It also goes to the installation teams as part of their information pack

Aftersales
•Answer incoming calls from customers and deal with their general queries
•Keeping CRM systems up to date by logging all cases and updating with new information when required
•Issue emails and worksheets to fitters and chase progress when required
•Monitor the Excel based T-Card schedule planner to spot opportunities for install teams to attend any aftersales. This is traditionally done whilst working on the same holiday park or geographical area

Other general duties
•Answering calls for the Operations department as required
•Online booking of parcel and pallet shipments
•Monitoring and answering emails from colleagues and suppliers
•Receive telephone enquiries from holiday parks or retail customers. Advise fitting dates if they are listed on T-Card Schedule. Pass enquiry to Operations Manager / Director if date is not known
