Following a period of growth, we have an immediate requirement for a Management Information Assistant to support our expanding team.

Based at our offices on the western fringes of Bury St Edmunds and reporting to the Client Results Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that highly accurate information is produced in a timely manner and in accordance to customer requirements. You will play a vital role reviewing and processing inspection reports, submitted by our team of field surveyors, ready for submission to clients. In addition, your daily duties will see you supporting with general administration and answering incoming calls.

Given the emphasis on data collation, review and reporting, it is essential that the successful candidate has exceptional attention to detail, strong IT skills and outstanding communication. Candidates who can use Excel to an intermediate level to include using formulae and generating pivot tables and charts would be of particular interest to us.

You will be competent at building effective relationships and will work in an organised and methodical manner. The nature of the industry means that things can move quickly, so we are looking for highly adaptable and flexible individuals who can react quickly and work in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Primary duties will include:

  • Reviewing, collating and recording reports submitted by our team of field surveyors for submission to energy clients and domestic customers
  • Generating regular summary reports
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Energy & Compliance Team

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent, at grade C or above, to include English & Maths
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), with particular emphasis on Excel; Working knowledge of database principles
  • Proven ability to enter information accurately and efficiently using appropriate IT systems
  • Proven ability to retrieve and analyse statistical information and present / report clearly and concisely
  • An analytical nature with exceptional attention to detail
  • Process-Orientated - The ability to work in a methodical and systematic manner
  • Highly-organised - You will possess exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and be adaptable and flexible where necessary
  • A clear, confident, articulate communicator – You will have high standards of written and oral English
  • An excellent telephone manner and the ability to build effective relationships within the business and with external customers
  • The ability to work with initiative, to innovate and problem solve as challenges arise
  • Candidates who possess an Administration or a Customer Service related qualification such as NVQ Business Administration Level 3, or equivalent would be of particular interest
