Senior Regeneration Manager
Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Regeneration Manager to join our team in Thamesmead. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. Thamesmead Waterfront is a regionally significant development opportunity located on the waterfront at north Thamesmead. Proposed new transport connections, including a DLR extension from Gallions Reach, will enable the delivery of a new riverside community and rejuvenated Town Centre for Thamesmead. Peabody is currently in the process of seeking a long term strategic partner to work with us to deliver our ambitions for the Waterfront site. You will be a key part of the team leading this work including: the management and co-ordination of all project activity; masterplanning and business case development; and supporting the procurement of a strategic partner. You will manage key stakeholder relationships, bring creative ideas, and drive the development, implementation and delivery of Peabody’s objectives for Thamesmead.
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Regeneration Manager to work at a senior level to develop and deliver Peabody’s regeneration programme for Thamesmead, with a specific focus on Thamesmead Waterfront. Responsibilities to include management and co-ordination of all project activity; masterplanning and business case development; supporting the procurement of a strategic investment partner; and managing key stakeholder relationships.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills required by the ideal Senior Regeneration Manager:
- Substantial experience of development and project management of large and complex regeneration projects to time and budget.
- Substantial experience of developing strategic masterplans to support corporate objectives.
- Substantial experience of developing business cases and financial modelling to regeneration activity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications, including proven influencing skills, with internal and external parties including residents.
- Strong experience of successful project management.
- Substantial experience of managing large budgets with the ability to interpret and respond to financial data.
- Strong understanding of and experience in risk management.
Qualifications required by the ideal Senior Regeneration Manager:
- Degree in relevant discipline desirable
