Acorn Recruitment is currently recruiting for a 7.5 tonne Shunter Wagon Driver to join our busy client based in Chester.
The main purpose of this role will be to ensure that all stock movements within the company are executed economically and efficiently.
The main key tasks are:
* Health & safety and manual handling adherence
* To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
* Be able to work in a fast pace environment
* Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
* Accurate stock movements and locations around the warehouse areas
* Stock rotation on a First In, First Out basis (FIFO)
* Facilitate factory requirements in an accurate and timely manner
* To keep work area clean & tidy by maintaining excellent GMP standards
* Liaise with QA and Supervisors / Warehouse Managers regarding any non-confirming, damaged stock.
Licences Required:
* C1 7.5 tonne license
* Drivers CPC
* Digi tacho card
* Drivers licence
* Counterbalance forklift truck licence.
Basic Salary:
GBP16,536 (GBP8.48 per hour).
Working Hours:
6:00am to 2:00pm / 2:00pm to 10:00pm alternating weekly (37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri). Flexibility is required in relation to overtime and weekend working.
