Business Development Executive - Sandy, Bedfordshire
Salary: GBP20,000 + GBP4,000 OTE. Use of company vehicle when required.

Our client is a leading supplier of fall protection equipment such as roof edge guardrail, roof walkway, life lines and portable man anchor systems as well as high-tech alternatives to scaffolding.
A great opportunity has arisen for a hungry Business Development Executive to join the Sales team developing an already successful business via introducing new routes to market and clients to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Office based B2B calling to identify and source new customers.
Arrange Sales meetings with new and existing clients.
Produce the necessary quotations for the products with the assistance of the Sales Office.
Follow up on the issued quotes and close the sales.
Provide sales forecasts on a monthly basis.
Provide an excellent aftersales service.
Support the business at trade shows and exhibitions.
Maintain a high rate of Business Development calls.
Adhere to our Health & Safety Policy at all times and ensure others do also.
Essential Criteria:
We are looking for a person who has a strong desire to succeed.
Experienced in Field based selling, as the role will move into this full time.
Sales driven with a desire to grow his/her personal career and the business.
Must be confident in both cold calling and face to face selling.
The candidate will need to be fit and healthy and able to demonstrate the products when required.
Comfortable with heights.
Smart and presentable.
IT Literate in Excel and Word.
Future package includes an attractive numerical package, company car, fuel card, laptop and phone. Should you successfully demonstrate the ability to grow in this area.
