Engineer

We are currently recruiting an engineer to work at a scientific company based in Basingstoke. This role will initially be working a double day shift which will be 6am-2pm one week and 2pm-10pm the week after continuously rotating. The shift will be a Saturday-Wednesday with Thursday and Friday off.

The candidate will be responsible for;
* Preventative & Planned Maintenance
* Defect Rectification
* Adjustments & Calibrations
* Spare Part & Material Control
* Commissioning of New Equipment
* Improvement Activity & Projects
* Training & Development
Experience/Qualifications required;
* Experience of a engineering environment
* Experience of machine operation
* An understanding of quality systems
* Proven track record in relevant discipline i.e. Electrical/Mechanical
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Product knowledge
