NQ Solicitor
TM Resourcing are recruiting for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join an award winning Law Firm in Leeds City Centre.
The Litigation Department is seen as an essential part of the business to sustain its continued growth. This opportunity will report into the Department Management Team.

Drafting witness evidence
*
Deal with complex contested matters
*
Drafting Replies and/or Defences to Counterclaim
*
Reviewing cases and deciding on most appropriate action
*
Point of contact for clients
*
Assist with handling client relationships
*
Assist in the management of the email, records and correspondence to ensure delivery is in line with client SLA's.
*
Working alongside current Litigation management team to ensure all tasks in the department are completed, making best use of available resources.
*
First point of escalation for queries/manager call backs
*
Preparing hearing papers
*
Referral point for any customer/third party complaints
*
Monitor work allocation/compliance with orders
*
Undertakes any other duties in line with the basic objectives of the post given to by management
Key requirements
* Newly Qualified Solicitor
*
Sound knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and court procedures
*
At least 3 years Commercial/Debt Litigation experience dealing with a volume caseload
Skills
*
Ability to identify and achieve solutions to problems and disputes
*
Ability to work under pressure to meet conflicting deadlines
*
Understanding of the SRA codes of conduct and FCA rules
*
Strong team-focused work ethic.
