My client, is a developer of residential property schemes, traditionally at the higher end of the market and price bracket. Its business in Solihull is part of a large well known Group headquartered in London/South.
Due to expansion of the team, a new post has been created for a Contract Administrator.
You will support and assist the Technical and Commercial departments in the creation, progression and filing of contract documents. Specific duties include:-
• Complete technical appointment documents and commercial contracts based on information provided
• Distribute documents and liaise with external parties to ensure documents are signed and returned within set timescales
• Ensuring contracts and appointment documents are filed carefully
• To manage the creation of supplier accounts on CODA
• To manage the approval of subcontractor accounts on the Group Call-Off database
• Maintain organised system of physical and digital records
• Printing and binding documents
• Ad-hoc administration duties from other members of the team
Requirements
The right candidate will have:
• Extremely high standards and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Familiarity with construction contracts is desired but not essential
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel
• Strict adherence to deadlines
• Self-motivation and be able to work on own initiative
• A flexible approach and willingness to 'muck in' when needed
• Confidence in working with people at all levels in an organisation
Experience
• Experience using Excel and Word
• Experience using web based systems for document handling i.e. uploading/downloading and using file sharing web sites
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Administrator
• Residential background, ideal but not essential
