Our client is located in bright, modern, open plan offices in central Sevenoaks. They are a leading insurer of risks related to property and property finance. They are currently looking for enthusiastic, driven candidates for an administrative role which offers the opportunity for progression into an underwriting role.

The role???

You will be undertaking a varied and interesting role, providing full administration support to the Underwriting team which will include dealing with incoming and outgoing post, scanning and photocopying. You will also answer all telephone enquiries, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner.

In addition you will be taught to draft and issue straightforward policies, liaising with clients regarding general policy enquiries and making suitable recommendations on the full range of products.

The candidate???

You will have a minimum of 6 months work experience with an office setting, or you will be looking to return to work after a career break. The ideal candidate will be looking to launch their career in insurance and therefore keen to learn and develop. You will be an excellent communicator, with excellent organisational, customer service and administrative skills.

You will be using the Microsoft Office Suite as a key part of your role so you must be confident using the various different programmes. You will have achieved strong A Level and GCSE results particularly in Maths and English and you will have developed good administrative skills in your previous work experience.

Above all, to be successful in this fantastic role you will need to show enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive working attitude.
