Our client specialises in the rearing and supply of Rare Breed Meat to the wholesale and catering industries. They operate from a meat cutting plant on the outskirts of Ripon. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Product Dispatcher to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a temporary role (2-3 weeks), to start ASAP and is Monday-Friday, 07:00-17:00 with possible Sunday work - GBP8.80ph
As a Product Dispatcher you will be responsible for packing items and signing off items for dispatch.
Your duties will include:
- Receive stock deliveries, inspection of delivery and unloading safely
- Picking and packing items for dispatch
- Labelling and putting stock in correct location
- Understanding and completion of paperwork
- Cleaning of the warehouse
- Stock check and relaying information back to relevant departments
- Other duties as required
To be considered for the role of a Product Dispatch you must have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a warehouse/wholesale environment
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Excellent punctuality
- Planning and Organisational Skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
