Pertemps are now recruiting for an LGV C+E/Class 1 Driver.
Our Client are looking for an LGV C+E/Class 1 Driver to carry out their 23:00 run, this particular route is carried out Tuesday through to Saturday.
You will be delivering from our Client's site to Supermarkets and will have very little, if any manual handling to carry out at the destination.
Good communication skills are required as you will need to liaise with the transport office daily. Delivery paperwork will need to be completed each day.
You will need to have a minimum of three months experience within a similar role but must have been as an LGV C+E/Class 1 Driver.
To be considered for this role you must have a DVLA Issued licence with the LGV C+E/Class 1 entitlement. Drivers Qualification card and a Digital Tachograph Card. You must also have good knowledge of Drivers Hours Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
You must have no more than 6 penalty points, these cannot be for endorsements such as DD/DR/CD.
For insurance purposes you must be over 21 years of age.
Hourly rates from GBP12.00 per hour whilst on temp to perm. Starting salary once permanent Circa GBP30'000 PA + Overtime
