My Client are an established Multi-Discipline Construction Consultancy who require an Intermediate level Project Manager or a PQS wanting to go more into full project management for their Bolton or ever-growing Manchester office. This opportunity will expose you to working with high profile private developers/Investors project delivering on all their redevelopment, refurbishment and new build design schemes across the UK. Those with Project Management or Quantity Surveying experience working within a construction/property consultancy would be preferred due to the fast pace environment this client work at and the demand of the position.
This role will heavily focus on working in sectors such as; hotels, offices, schools, residential, high street retail stores and many more.
All APC support will be given to the successful candidate as the client recognises becoming MRICS is a key factor for those looking to progress and become an accomplished project manager within the Consultancy market.
Duties:
* Assisting with the day to day delivery of projects and in time and eventually leading projects solely (leading on projects is encouraged and supported for all their Project Managers)
* Undertake contact administration and dealing with Tenders (NEC/JCT Design & Build)
* Produce cost/general update reports to suit relevant stages of the projects
* Assist in the management of consultant teams
* Assist in the management of consultant teams to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract
* Liaise with the client on deviations from specification, budget etc.
* Conduct meetings and show strong communication and client facing skills.
* Ensure that all CDM regulations have been followed throughout the delivery of project
* Manage logistics and resource allocation to ensure delivery of project
