Vehicle Paint Sprayer

We work closely with a leader in the accident repair Automotive field, for vehicle crash and accident repairs. Due to planned growth, we now have a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced vehicle paint sprayer for the Guildford site.
This vehicle paint sprayer role is a crucial part of the team and requires an experienced paint sprayer, with an accident repair background
Job Details: Vehicle Paint Sprayer
• Spraying the full vehicle
• Mixing of own colours
• Prepare vehicles to be painted
• Mix and match paint by eye or by using computer technology to ensure correct colour match
• Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats
• Touch up paintwork and apply polish to vehicles
• Remove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork
• Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
• Paint spraying the entire vehicle
• Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas.
• Must be comfortable in a painting environment
• You must have experience as a vehicle paint sprayer to be successful in this role
• Ideally you will be ATA qualified
Job Experience: The Successful Vehicle Paint Sprayer will have:
• Experience of working and spraying cars in an accident repair or bodyshop environment
• Water based paints experience is essential
• Able to use spray guns
• A paint sprayer background in automotive
• Able to work in a fast paced, and targeted environment
• Able to work in Guildford area
In return, you will be offered:
• Salary GBP13.50 per hour plus bonus (45 hours basic, basic salary is GBP31,500)
• Hours: 8am - 6pm and overtime if you want it
