Bar Supervisor, Hitchin, GBP19000 plus tips
At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Bar Supervisor.
An award winning bar and restaurant in Hitchin are looking for an experienced bar supervisor.
Role Objective
To work with the bar management to lead and develop the team in the day to day service, ensuring that excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction are achieves
Responsibilities
* To provide Supervisory support to the Bar Manager and deputies the role fully in their absence.
* Supervision of the bar, ensuring service and product consistency is of a high standard at all times.
* Ensure that all HACCP documentation is recorded and monitored.
* To assist with team briefing and de-briefings
* Excellent knowledge of cocktails
* Management of bar staff on shift
* Assist Managers with events
Such other reasonable duties as considered necessary and appropriate by the Bar Manager/General Manager
Experience and Skills required
* Knowledge & experience of cocktail making
* Supervisory experience within a similar environment
* Excellent customer service & communication skills
* Training of bar staff
* Understanding of COSHH and H&S procedures
Personal Characteristics
* Conscientious and reliable
* Willingness to learn and undertake further training
* Friendly, cooperative and approachable with a high attention to detail
Salary and Benefits
* My client is offering the successful Bar Supervisor a salary of GBP19000 plus tips
* Pension scheme.
* Meals on duty
