Fraud Claims Handler - Newcastle
Claims Investigation Team - Claims Handler
The Fraud area is looking for a Claims Handler to join the existing Claims Investigation Team. Working as part of an existing Team you will have the opportunity to contribute towards securing financial savings for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and manage your own caseload of suspect claims.
- Conduct desk top enquiries utilising a number of specialised tools and databases.
- Achieve cost efficient conclusions on your cases.
- Direct interaction with fraud investigators, panel solicitors, suppliers and motor engineers in order to complete an effective claims investigation
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Experience of handling all claims types to include PI. Credit hire experience is preferable.
- Good knowledge of insurance claims fraud processes. Experience of being involved in motor fraud investigation
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Organised with the ability to prioritise your workload
- Excellent communication skills, to include both verbal and written
