Business Development Manager- Spider Recruitment Services are pleased to be supporting a rapidly growing finance company based on the Cambridge outskirts with the search for a tenacious Business Development Manager. This highly regarded company are incredibly customer focused, and believe in the importance of transparency, openness, honesty and exceeding expectations.
As the Business Development Manager, the key focus of this role will be to implement an effective business development strategy, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and negotiating and closing business deals whilst delivering high quality, sustainable renewable energy project credit proposals.
Other key duties and responsibilities include:
-Implement the strategy to differentiate this company from its competitors in the renewable funding and project sector
-Build an extensive network of relationships across the industry
-Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
-Maintain accurate opportunity forecasts and reporting
-Deliver accurate and comprehensive credit applications and proposals to the highest standard
-Attend events and conferences in relation to the renewable energy sector
-Able to manage workloads and priorities and work under pressure to tight deadlines
-Gain knowledge of basic Anaerobic Digestion / Biogas financial models and plant operations within 6 months of appointment
Skills and attributes required:
-Able to manage workloads and priorities and work under pressure to tight deadlines
-3 years + experience in loan operations
-Experience in corporate lending
-Effective team leading skills
-Excellent presentation skills
-Sound organisational skills
-Excellent negotiation skills
-Highly articulate and numerate
-Willing to embrace change and challenge processes to improve efficiency
-Background in corporate funding / financial services
-Natural relationship builder
-Tenacious nature
You will also have the ability to naturally build rapport, to be self-motivated and have high levels of energy and drive.
On offer is a salary circa GBP45000-GBP50000 per annum as well as plus car allowance.
