Environmental Assistant
Superb opportunity to join a Global FMCG Manufacturer .GBP19-22,000 ++ dep on exp.A strong background in Environmental aspects,waste etc. Leicester based. Driving licence is essential.Experience of working in industry is essential
•Collaborate with the Environment Manager for the maintenance and implementation of systems in matters of environmental management (ISO 14001) and forest certifications (FSC)
•Manage the communication flow with the relevant authorities in matters of environmental protection
•Collaborate with the Environment Manager for the maintenance of the granted environmental permissions
•Support, assist and collaborate with the other corporate depts. on operational aspects related to environmental issues
•Support the corporate Environment Department in the management of the communication flow towards clients on environmental topics
•Promote the Corporate Principles and Values
Qualifications
•Environmental based degree or several years experience in the environmental field
•Understand chemical safety
•Very good awareness of Health and Safety
•Work well as part of a team or on own initiative
•Very good communication skills, both written and verbal
•PC literate, confident at preparing reports
•High level of numeracy
•Problem solving skills
•Attention to detail
•Good housekeeping
•Knowledge of ISO 14001/OSHAS 18001
•Auditing experience
•Salary GBP19-22,000 +
Travel to work from Leicester or Lancaster
