Sales Administrator

Purpose of Role:

As a result of our successful growth, we are now seeking to employ an enthusiastic and friendly Sales Administrator. We are looking for a self-motivated team player to support the administration function of our Branded Oils Commercial Sales division.

The Sales Administrator will report to the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for providing administrative support. Processing and amending customer orders in a timely fashion, liaising with the Production and Logistics teams and supporting the sales team with general administration to help achieve business goals.

Core responsibilities

• Receiving inbound calls, and emails, logging customer queries and making follow-up calls.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potentially new customers.
• Process customer orders in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Transfer information from a customer order to the ERP system, maintaining clear and accurate records.
• Co-ordinating between commercial, production and logistics teams to ensure all customer orders are dispatched and delivered on time & in full.
• Providing daily pricing and product information to customers on request.
• Support all customer needs whenever in contact with them and capitalise on any opportunity for the sales team to upsell and cross sell products.
• Ensures a high level of service is maintained at all times.

Suporting Kerfoot Commercial Division Performance

• Awareness of a KPI driven sales environment and desire to work to a company strategy.
• Analyse customer stats and advise the Commercial Manager on customer order patterns and target calls accordingly.
• Capacity to own tasks and progress problems, through to resolution.
• Promptly communicating to the Commercial Manager any customer or production issues.
• Working in a culture that encourages ethical conduct, open communication & commitment to compliance consistent with The Kerfoot Group values.

Skills & Experience required

• Understanding and experience of a FMG sales environment.
• A proactive individual, flexible & focused, driven to provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Excellent planning, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle pressured situations and manage stress, delivering on multiple work streams concurrently with excellent attention to detail.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft packages, specifically Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Creative thinker able to challenge established ways of doing things.
• Team player who upholds the company values.
