We are currently recruiting a number of 1:1 Tutors/ Teaching Assistant in Clacton on Sea
Do you have experience working with children and young people with challenging behavior/mental health/complex needs?
Do you have experience working one to one in the community or in a school setting?
Do you have experience working within Social Care or Youth Work
Our client and parent company based in Essex who provide education to SEMH pupils, ASC pupils have a number of 1:1 tutors and teaching assistants vacancies.
You will need to have extensive experience working with challenging behaviour.
Experience and/or the ability in supporting primary and secondary aged students with SEMH and/or complex needs.
Experience and/or ability to work independently on a one to one basis with the student
Experience working as a part of a team
1:1 Tutors must be able to support academic progress, development of life skills and positive behaviour. l
1:1 tutors should be able to drive, be a car owner and have business insurance.
TA's and 1:1 tutors must be confident, patient and calm with the ability to build relationships quickly and efficiently with the pupils
The ideal candidates will:
Have experience working/supporting children with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, ASC and Challenging Behaviour.
Have experience supporting the students teaching and learning
Have strong behaviour management.
It is preferable but not essential Have de-escalation/restraint training (MAPA, Team-Teach )
