Purpose of the Role:-
To ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all pay cycles in the group and to support the Senior Payroll Administrator.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Processing of payrolls in accordance with the payroll frequency (employees paid hourly and salary) on a fortnightly, four weekly of monthly cycle
- Processing and calculation of employee's holiday pay, sick pay and other statutory payments
- Keying all personnel details, updating all records on Sage50 and internal system, i.e. change of address, tax details and closing employs for P45s
- Dealing with third party deductions (Attachment of Earnings and CSA payments)
- Dealing with Government Agency queries
- Complex telephone and email queries from employees
- Supporting the Senior Payroll Administrators
- Verifying statutory payments
- Filing all personnel records and payroll reports
Attributes required for the role:
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Good level of numeracy
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail
- 1 year's payroll experience
