I am delighted to be working with a provider of Social Housing who is looking to appoint an Asset Surveyor in the Torbay area of Devon.
This position will see you undertaking stock condition surveys, managing disrepair claims and completing property inspections. You will also be required to undertake fire risk and health & safety assessments. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is completed in line with organisational policies ensuring regulatory compliance.
Producing documents and reports to contribute to tenders and work specifications, you will demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who can demonstrate a customer first approach and a proactive work ethic.
To apply for this role you should hold an HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent and a proven background within a surveying position/ environment. You will have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle as this role will involve some travel.
In return you will be remunerated with a competitive annual salary of GBP30,000 and numerous additional company benefits including a generous pension scheme and holiday allowance.
