Our client is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their busy team in Grays, Essex.
Job Description
* You will be required to cold call to sell to new and existing business
* You will be expected to provide spot quotes and tariffs to cover 3 UK branches
* You will be expected to provide ad hoc sales administrative support cover to our other UK branches, such as sickness, holiday cover and when required from Grays, Essex as part of your role you will be expected to travel to our other UK branches when required for meetings and training purposes
* The role will involve some data entry tasks
* You will record tariffs onto out sales systems
* You will be liaising with our in house operational department about new business acquisitions
* You will resolve customer service issues
* General office duties photocopying, filling and answering telephone and managing emails on a daily basis
Person Specification
* Cold calling experience is essential
* Cold calling within Transport industry is desirable but not essential
* Must have flexible approach towards your work
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Strong English literacy and numeracy skills
* Computer literate on Microsoft such as word, excel and email
* Keen to learn and self-motivated
* Able to manage own work load
* Able to work on own initiative and work as part of team
