We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse and Packing Operative to join our friendly Logistics & Planning department based at our rural site in Trevarrian, just outside Newquay. The role will involve working on a days shift rota as part of a team to deliver operational plans, 40 hours per week. At the Trevarrian creamery, we make award winning Cornish soft cheeses, such as brie, camembert and goats cheese using traditional recipes. We are extremely proud of our products, the teams we work with and our special site overlooking the north coast of Cornwall.

Join a busy team responsible for

* The health, safety and environmental policies and procedures on site and for ensuring the equipment used (fork lift trucks - FLTs) are used safety and checked daily.
* Looking after inbound and outbound stock on site, ensuring the quality of both products received from suppliers and the quality of products despatched to customers.
* Ownership of the areas worked in and using lean tools to maintain a clean, good and safe working environment.
* Maintenance of stock on the SAP system and for creating the relevant documentation for products being despatched.

Market leading company

The successful candidate needs to be:

* Able to operate within a challenging but rewarding factory environment that is physically demanding and can entail repetitive tasks.
* Hold an FLT licence with experience desirable, as the use of a fork lift truck is required on a daily basis
* Warehousing experience with use of warehousing/stock management computer systems (SAP) is also desirable, although training will be given.
* Organised and structured in their approach to work, being able to work to time lines and deadlines, both on their own and as part of a team.
