Senior PCB Technician
* GBP30,000 - GBP35,000/annum DOE

* Senior PCB test Technician/ Engineer
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Test and Inspection Technician.
You must have a HND/Degree in Micro Electronics, Hands on experience of working in a production environment, and part of the final production inspection/ test/ rectification/ rework activity.
Hours :
* 40?? hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm
* Friday 8am-3pm
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Test and Inspection Technician, to joint our test department. Able to work both on your own and as part of a small team, your duties will be split between the service, repair and calibration of existing assembled products and the test & inspection of new PCBs and product using both AOI and more traditional methods.
You must be able to use electronic test equipment along with schematics to fault find to component level, and be competent in the use of bench test equipment oscilloscopes / Dvm / signal generators / PSUs etc. As well as having the ability to use hand tools (spanners, drivers, drills, etc.) with safe working practices. Be familiar with MS software packages and able to maintain detailed service and inspection reports.
Desirable for new product test and inspection.
A working knowledge of the processes involved in the production of mixed technology electronic assemblies in an ISO9001 quality controlled environment (problem identification, production feedback, yield analysis etc).
Identification of process defects according to IPC610 standards, and ability to carry out hands on rework of printed circuit boards which may include SMT devices with fine pitched leads and leadless components.
* Ability to fault find both electronic and mechanical assemblies.
* Some understanding of compressed air systems, and safe working practices.
* Be able to use mechanical gauges to record and maintain accurate test results.
* Ideally be qualified to HNC / HND Electronic Engineering.
* Previous electronics manufacturing experience desirable
