Leading, high-end & bespoke national security systems integrator seek an office based Technical Support Engineer for their northern office in Mansfield.

The role involves:

- Providing technical assistance (via the telephone) to end clients.
- Providing technical assistance (Via the telephone) to the service engineering staff.
- Providing technical support (site based) to the end client.
- Providing technical support (site based) to the service engineering staff.
- Providing support to the Help Desk and sourcing replacement parts for obsolete systems.
- Consultations and system demonstrations to the end client.
- Providing technical assistance within the office including the network and site security systems.
- Auditing the systems installed by the installation engineering staff (NSI & BAFE systems).
- Providing technical assistance to the installation engineering staff.

The successful Technical Support Engineer will be from the Security industry and have hands-on experience on a complete range of systems, from small hard-wired intruder alarms through to large complex networked systems.

The ability to deal with people with a wide range of technical skills and abilities will be essential, as well as good administrative skills, to book customers onto courses and to ensure that training certificates are promptly produced and issued. They will also need to arrange travel and accommodation for visits away from the office,

Key Experience/qualifications

- You will need to have a high level of experience of CCTV, Access Control, Fire, Networking and Intruder systems.
- You will require a good knowledge of electrical safety.
- Have excellent Man-Management skills
- You will be a team player with ambition
- Communicate and build successful working relationships with customers and other employees
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
