Fire Alarm Engineer. GBP26m turnover National Fire & Security firm practicing high-end integrated systems packages, operating heavily in public sectors are seeking a strong Fire Alarm Engineer who is looking to improve his portfolio with full GENT training to join the team at their Oldbury branch.
As a Fire Alarm Engineer your role will comprise of the comprehensive Servicing, Commissioning & Installation (Predominately Service)of Fire Alarms to an assortment of clients and fire systems from simple standalone systems to large multi-site integrated solutions with a particular focus upon Town Centres, Data Centres, CCTV Control Rooms, Social Housing, Police Headquarters, Education Facilities and Complex Networks,
The requirements for this Fire Alarm Engineer role are as follows:
+ A good working knowledge of BS5839 for Fire Systems
+ Must be familiar and have experience of all types of Fire Systems and be flexible in their approach
+ A full drivers licence is essential
+ A willingness to mentor Junior Engineers particularly on the routine servicing elements
+ A willingness to be part of the call out rota
+ Experience on other Electronic Security Systems would be an advantage
As a Fire Alarm Engineer you would be working within the East Midlands area and your role would include the Service, Maintenance & Commission of Fire Alarm systems.
