Are you an experienced CNC Machinist within an industrial production environment?
Our established Lincoln based client is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team, on a full-time permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an industrial machine shop using Fanuc controls and ability to run manually operated equipment. Also the ability to read drawings and produce components accordingly is essential.
Your main duties are to examine and modify CNC programmes, set up tools and load materials into the CNC machines to carry out the machining of components. Inspect and ensure components comply with required measurements using various measuring equipment.
Applicants must be Apprentice trained Machinists or time served with a strong machining background in milling and /or turning and be fully conversant in industrial manufacturing techniques.
Duties:
•Operating machines such as Milling, Turning and Bevelling.
•Working from drawings ensuring accurate measurements using gauges
•Writing programmes for machines if required.
•Selection and setting of tooling
Essential Skills:
•Good experience as a CNC Machinist within an industrial production environment
•Must display a sound knowledge of general engineering practices
•Ability to read and analyse technical drawings
•Ability to manufacture to required standards and tolerances
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.45pm
Holidays: 20 days (5 weeks) holiday per annum plus statutory holidays
Benefits: Onsite parking and auto enrolment pension scheme after 3 months
