We are looking for Production Operatives to support our growing business.
As a production operative you will support the operations team by assisting a Machine Operator to ensure work produced from your machine is to high quality standards and high performance, with minimal incidents of wastage or spoilage.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all tasks required to keep the Machine/Process running throughout the shift are fulfilled as instructed by the Machine Operator and/or Shift Operations Manager. This will include but not be limited to: Loading Work, Unloading and packing work, Gathering Work, General Handwork, Servicing of Work
Take instruction from Bindery Operator to assist in gathering up all elements of the next job while the current job is running and perform any tasks as required by the Bindery Operator.
Maximise production time of machine/process
Proactively approach to quality of work to eradicate customer complaints on bound product quality
Operate according to Standard Operating Procedures
Perform and record machine weekly preventative maintenance routine
Improve operating efficiencies
Minimise unplanned downtime
• Maintain a safe working environment. Report all H&S issues to your supervisor.

Hours of Work:
Treble Shift: Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week on a rotational treble shift pattern of 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am.
You may be required to work outside of these hours when necessary, especially in busy periods
