Position: Multi Skilled Maintenance Electricians
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and locations nationwide
Rate of Pay: GBP19.30 - 21.23/hour LTD
Contract Duration: 3-6 months
The Role:
Due to recent growth in the business, our client currently requires additional multi skilled maintenance Electricians to carry out the installation and maintenance of electrical power supplies on site, ensuring all electrical works are up to IEE and British Standards BS7671. The role will initial be on a 3-6 month contract, leading to a permanent a permanent position.
Duties will include:
-Installation, testing, inspection and remedial works
-Assembling, installing, testing, certifying and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, fixtures etc
-Installation and maintenance of three phase and single phase control gear for motors, pumps, fans etc
-Connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components
-Inspecting electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects and the need for repair or replacement
-Diagnosing faulty systems apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate causes of breakdowns and correct the fault
-Carry out small to medium sized projects alone or part of a team
Qualifications required:
-NVQ level 3 or equivalent
-City & Guilds electrical qualification, 17th edition preferred
-Recognised apprenticeship
-2391 inspection certificate an advantage
Experience required:
-Previous experience of working in the water treatment sector
-Experience of carrying our testing and inspection
-Experience of reactive maintenance works and installation
-Knowledge of plant control
-Computer literate
Personal qualities:
-Ability work as part of a team or unsupervised
-Enthusiastic
